Casa Esquinera – Villa en Trebaluger

Trebaluger is one of those magical places that characterize our wonderful island, one of these havens of peace where everything seems to fit so that the hiker or the lucky resident can enjoy the surroundings: sight, sound, smell, a paradise for all the senses. A very popular local band sings a song that is almost a hymn to this small residential zone in the middle of nature, and you can understand it once you stroll through its labyrinthine streets with picturesque names, when you admire the lush flowering gardens and the majestic prehistoric Talaiot.
As well our “Corner House” reflects the charm and tranquility of its surroundings. Located in a boundary zone of Trebaluger, the property extends over a large area where the actual garden merges with the typical Menorcan fields. The pretty dry stone walls are present everywhere here, delimiting the terraces and the various relaxation areas. Whether sunbathing or enjoying the cool shade, you can always feel its special atmosphere and its very own charm. The floor of the terrace and the edge of the pool are made of natural stone. An olive-tree maybe a hundred years old provides shade and creates a perfect area where you can sit together at the long table and where the barbecue is the center of attention, if you want.
Inside the house you will find a spacious and original distribution. First of all, the living room, which catches the eye as soon as you enter, with its high ceiling, its sophisticated decoration and beautiful natural materials. The kitchen, which is integrated into the living room, also shows different rustic materials, open shelves, in which both decorative elements and utility objects are lined up. The kitchen is fully equipped, because the culinary experience of a holiday should also be first class.
The whole house is air-conditioned, the living room and all bedrooms. On the ground floor you will find two single rooms and one double room with a double bed. The entire upper floor is occupied by two huge double bedrooms, both absolutely exceptional in their size and decoration. Sleeping here gives you a very special feeling, maybe you could even say that it is a dream come true. Both bedrooms have access to a roof terrace from which you can enjoy views of the garden and fields. (It is recommended not to give access to small children due to the shape and measures of the railing.)
Four bathrooms complete the wonderful impression given by the whole house, two large ensuite bathrooms upstairs and two further bathrooms downstairs, all modern, fresh and comfortable.
It remains to say that Trebaluger is located in the triangle between Mahón, Es Castell and Sant Lluís, so you can enjoy the infrastructure and charm of all three places, especially the proximity to the capital offers numerous cultural, commercial and gastronomic opportunities. At the same time, the special location allows you to immerse yourself in the beautiful Menorcan landscape as soon as you leave the house. Very attractive rural lanes, also connected to the already famous “Camí de Cavalls”, allow you to discover the natural beauties of the island on foot or by bike.
The nearest beach, Punta Prima, is about 8 km away.
